    Access to Borealis, which hosts the U of G Research Data Repositories, may be intermittent and/or reduced to Canadian IP addresses as the Borealis Team deals with increased bot traffic. This disruption may impact users' ability to deposit and access data.

Audio Cine Films Access

    Since June 2025, users have encountered intermittent authentication errors, especially in the evenings and on weekends. This issue affects academic libraries across Canada. We are working with our consortial partners and the vendor to resolve it, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

    Please be advised that the storage software for Borealis, which hosts the U of G Research Data Repositories, will be upgraded on May 2nd from 1:00 pm to 4:00pm EDT.

    During this maintenance window, the performance and availability of Borealis for data deposit, browsing, and download may be reduced.
